Deep in the heart of West Virginia there lies a small, equine related town where everyone knows everyone and there's never an off season... chances are you've heard all of this before; but no doubt things have changed since you've last visited. There's still drama, competition, bonds, and breakups; but new names and faces have taken on the roles their parents began long ago, back in the good old days. Can this new generation live up to their family names? Or will they perhaps be lured into the same traps their parents fell for when they were young? Either way, there's bound to be some juicy drama. The modest little stable nestled on the outskirts of town is what brought them all together years ago, and it's still the tie that keeps them together today... welcome to the new Pinewood Stables.

[ ]The stable yard
Welcome to Pinewood! That same white painted sign still welcomes you as you pull into the gravel parking lot of the stable. Straight ahead you'll see a door leading to the Stable Office and the Front Desk, where you can find all the info you need to begin boarding or riding here at Pinewood. Also ahead are the large wooden doors leading to the Stable Hall, where our resident horses reside and groomers work daily. If they're open, you may even be able to look straight down the wide isle and catch a glimpse of our Lesson Rings where our Instructors give public lessons weekly. Nope, not much has changed in 23 years...
00
[ ]The loft
Located to the right of the stable hall, this fun and spacious little room holds a large TV, a radio, two couches and plenty of chairs; providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere to hang out with stable buddies after a long day of horse work. A small fridge sits in the corner, serving as a great place to store your lunch, or grab a snack and a soda (or a nice bottle of water, for those who prefer healthier choices). Pinewood meetings, gatherings, and inside events are also held here occasionally.
00
[ ]The stable hall
Located in the center of the stable, this is where our resident horse's stay. Chances are that you'll find yourself here very often, wither bonding or caring for your horse. The stalls are clean and comfortable, offering a relaxing atmosphere for your horse. The large Tack Room is at the end of the long hall and to the left, where each boarder gets their own personal cubbies for holding their tack and horse supplies and a locker for holding their personal things and other riding gear. A small shower and bathroom are also located there. A wash rack sits at the end of the hall to the right, where you can bathe and wash your equine and out the large wooden doors lead you to our riding rings.
00
[ ]Pinewood trail
You can ride your horse out here for a relaxing trail ride. Located on the West side of the stable yard, The Pinewood trail is a historic trail that runs through Pinewood Forest. On it you will spot Bentfield Brook, the historic Pinewood Cemetery, and Pinewood Lake, along with beautiful country scenery. If you're lucky enough, you might even stumble upon the old race track! The end of the trail runs through McMaster's Field and meets back up on the East side of the stable yard.
00
[ ]Beginner jumping arena
Here is where the smaller and tiny jumps are held. Riders are often riding here to warm their horses up for a good cross country or show jumping run, or learning how to jump or even ride. Of course it’s surrounded by one of the most beautiful views in sandhills alone. The trees are lush and green and the area smells like Christmas. The jumps are nice and colorful and the arena is very well kept. This arena is fairly large, and big enough to lunge your horse here. You’d better start warming up.
00
[ ]Intermediate Jumping arena
Here is where you will find the intermediate jumping course. It’s harder than the beginning course, but easier then the professional arena. It’s surrounded by pine trees, but does not have dirt or sand in the arena. Because the base is grass, it’s a little bit more dangerous and if your planning on riding here it’s ride at your own risk without an instructor. You should not ride here if your horse spooks easy, if he does I’m very sorry. It’s all in safety folks. What’s cool about this arena is it’s almost on the side of a small hill, so when it rains this place is flooded! Remember to wear that helmet the hardest part of riding is the ground.
00
[ ]Professional Jumping Arena
In the year 2,000 the Grand Prinx was held here at sandhills. Because of this,Sandhills show ground is a bit famous, and part of the reason the boarding here is so expensive. Sandhills offers riders to ride here for free without charge, as people who do not have a horse here are not allowed to practice in this special arena. The jumps here are left over from the Prinx so they are especially difficult and high. By all means do not try these unless you are a professional rider, have an amazing horse, or your instructor says your ready. People may also come to hang out on the bleachers, or just ride regarding the jumps. It’s a fairly large area, and a nice one at that. What’s super cool is the multicolored lights that are available to have by turning them on near the opening. Because of this stable dances are usually held here. For dances a temporary padding covers the sand. If you have not guessed the area is indoors and is a bit far away from the stables. You have to ride the trails get here.
00
[ ]The dressage arena
Here is where you can work on both your horses and your skills in the English sport known as ‘Dressage’. This is a fairly large arena, and even provides you with one large mirror attached to the light post so you can see your horses movement more clearly. This arena is also used to warm your horse up or lunge him in, because we all know our round pens could use some work. This arena is to be kept in the best condition. This means if your horses use the restroom here clean it up as soon as possible.
00
[ ]Roping arena
Well yeee ha! Are you feeling like a cowboy? Well get on down here and rope some cows. Every Saturday we hold jack pot roping here, so get practicing. We supply your calves, put is usually takes two because we also hold team roping here. It’s closer to the barn than the jumping arenas so it’s also a fun place to get your horses in shape by lunging. The owner also says if no one is using it you can turn your horses out here and let it play.
00
[ ]Barrel arena
If your like Hayley, you love some good old fun in barrel racing. Here you can practice your barrel skills as well as your speed, and endurance. It works better if you have a Arabian or Quarter Horse, but you can try with any breed. Your liable to get a faster time if you have a short and stocky horse rather than a tall one but it’s up to you. We don’t really require any supervision with this particular sport, but as always you should ride with a helmet as it is safer that way. Not just barrels are located in this out door arena, but poles for pole bending as well. Gymkhanas are sometimes held here.

00
[ ]Racetrack
When your riding on our trail you might notice a few things. The first wood be the view, the freeway and lastly a large one mile arena. What is this? Why, this is none other than Sandhill’s practice racing track. Horse racing is never held here, but it’s really cool to practice even if your not into racing. This can sure settle whose horse is faster. Although remember to cool your horse down after a run, and not to work him to hard beyond his limits.

00
[ ]Round pens
So nobody uses these anymore. It seems they are better turn outs rather than warm up areas but it’s not that bad. Could it be? Barely held together these round pens are located behind the stable. In fact they are just calling your name so why don’t you go repair these crappy things for us? It’s a good place to keep filly’s though, or any small horse. Make sure they don’t escape.

00
[ ]Lessons
This arena is located near the front of the stable and is the first arena you see when you arrive in Sandhills. Only instructors may post threads here, but anyone may reply. It’s plain with no jumps or anything, just a large nice arena. Your instructor may lead you to any other arena and remember to practice for those shows coming up soon.

[ ]Pinetop Mall

You can always just hang out here and meet up with friends, or by something for you equine friends.
00
[ ]Hooves and hearts
The tack shop is located in town about four minutes from the stable. They give discounts to who ever boards a horse at Sandhills, so you’re lucky. The finest saddles and bridles are carried there, and anything else you would want to find. They might even give away halters if you spend the right amount of money.

00
[ ]The Library
We like the Saddle club, Harry potter and twilight books and yes that makes us nerds. Sometimes we all come here to find horse books or anything really. It’s a nice and quite place to get rid of the neighing and drama to do home work or write a poem. 00

This is why we come to starbucks.Starbucks is open all the time, including early mornings to blend your favorite coffee drink so you had better pay them extra. They are not open however on following holidays: Christmas, Easter, Fourth of July or Labor day. If you have an emergency you going to have to drive an hour up to the hospital or call 911. It’s a warm place, and it feels like home.
00

This is a nightclub for all the people in Pinetop who has had a really tough day and wants to forget it by drinking his/her heart out. You want to as well, huh? Well then get you booty over here. Gut buzzed and have fun here! They play R&B, Rap, metal, emo, and rock.
00
[ ]Marqee Theater
We want an encore! Are you ready to go Moshing, or raving? I sure hope so. Because this is the hottest concert hall in town. This place is standing room only, and is indoors. Every place is good seating because it arches so you can se the band from the very back. It’s quit cool really. It gives you what ware house feeling doesn’t it? All kinds of bands perform here such as: Paramore, Rascal Flats, Fall out boy, My chemical romance, Say anything, and many many more. Your band may also come here to practice and there is always a talent scout. You could be the next Amy lee, the next big star.
00
[ ]Hotels
Sandhills is home to the finest cabins, and these are hotels in fact. Each cabin has there very own waiter so come here at get first class treatment now. It’s especially beautiful in the winter around December where it snows up here in the pines. You can enjoy some hot coco while ordering the best hot fudge Sunday in the house. 00

[ ]Trailer Homes
Sadly, not all of Pinetop is living up to the rich and fancy. The trailer park is where people who prefer to live in smaller homes, make their lives. It’s fairly close to the mall. The neighborhoods aren’t so safe, but luckily the police station is near by. The styles of the homes are your typical trailer, in various colors. The homeowners don’t really care about this place. Go ahead, paint your trailer pink.

[ ]Bella Vista
Bella vista is for all your normal folk. Yes, buy normal I mean it. These are all around nice houses, large and roomy. They have backyards and such for your house pets too. These are extremely safe, and are located near the park. It’s an all around big neighborhood, lots of areas to chill and even a public pool. They don’t live up to the Springwood houses, but are much better than the trailer homes.
